ABOUT EL PLUMA
BIOGRAPHY
I started my career more than 15 years ago. The first time I stepped on an advertising agency was the 4th floor of JWT México. Something that changed my life. That was where I made my first commercials and where a couple of years later I would win one of the most beautiful awards of my career: the Young Lions of that year. After working at JWT and with a more consolidated portfolio under my arm with brands such as HSBC, Cadbury Adams, Kimbely Clark, Walmart, among others, I ventured to my next agency, a place that welcomed me with open arms and new challenges and friends, an agency with about 40 people in its ranks but with a huge name and equally large "sizes", Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi. A magical agency full of great creatives. There I first brought a brand of cars, which gave me the opportunity to make nice announcements and the opportunity to win several prizes such as the Creative Circle Grand Prix. Part of those awards and some more with other brands like Continental Airlines was what brought me to the ears of people in Leo Burnett Mexico, which would be the next agency in my career. Leo Burnett, the agency where he said at the entrance "Know when to remove my name from the door", something huge. At Leo Burnett I worked for Kellogg's at the regional level, a great experience for my career because the digital world was one of my first entries. In Leo I spent great years working with incredible people and who taught me many things. At the end of my stay at Leo Burnett, I took a couple of months to think about many things and prepare for my next challenge, to fully enter the digital world, and I had the opportunity thanks to the Nurun agency of the Publicis group, half scared but very excited, I entered full and soaked as much as I could from the people I worked with, pure professional in the field. My stay in Nurun was short, but very productive, and thanks to that they called me from an agency that was born to lead the Bimbo Group, a project led by a great creative that showed us that with character and passion you can take wherever you want a agency and a great brand. Currently I am Creative General Director at La Casa de Carlota México, a different and beautiful agency where we do Creative Activism together with incredible people with down syndrome and autism, as well as doing some alternative projects on my own.
And above all very happy to have ever entered the 4th floor of that agency that showed me how beautiful advertising is.
